Every surface protected before we open a can. Floors, millwork, fixtures — all covered. The prep work is where the professionalism shows, and the finish is where the quality is proven.

The best paint job in the world can't fix bad drywall. But when the drywall is right — flat walls, tight joints, no ridges or low spots — a quality paint application makes the whole room look exceptional.
LR Contracting offers interior painting as an extension of our drywall scope, primarily for clients who want one contractor to take the finish from framing through to painted walls. We prime, fill any remaining imperfections after the prime coat reveals them, and apply finish coats in your chosen colour and sheen.
We use premium Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams products. We protect all floors and millwork before we start. We clean up completely before we leave. And because we installed the drywall, we know where every joint is — and we make sure they're invisible under paint.

A proper prime coat seals the drywall and reveals any remaining surface imperfections under lighting conditions similar to the finished room. We address these before the finish coat — not after.
After the prime coat dries we sand any nibs, roller texture or remaining surface irregularities before the finish coat. This is the step many painters skip — we don't.
Two finish coats of your chosen colour in the specified sheen. Full coverage, consistent texture, no holidays (missed spots) or roller lines. Each coat applied with quality tools for a smooth result.
Benjamin Moore Regal Select and Aura for residential projects. Sherwin-Williams Emerald for commercial. We don't use builder-grade paint — quality product covers better, lasts longer and holds its sheen.
Floors, millwork, windows and doors all protected before we open a can. We tape crisp lines where required. Drop cloths throughout. We treat your home the way we'd want our own treated.
Paint trays, rollers, tape, plastic and drop cloths removed. Floors swept or vacuumed if disturbed. We leave the site clean. The painters who leave a mess are not the painters you want in your custom home.

Our painting service is primarily offered alongside our drywall work — for clients who want one contractor to take the project from framing to painted finish. Standalone painting jobs are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Yes — ceilings are typically painted first in a flat white or off-white before wall colours are applied. We'll discuss the paint schedule with you before starting so there's no confusion on what goes where.
Both options work. We can source your chosen Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams colour, or you can supply the paint and we'll apply it. Just let us know your preference when you book.
For most custom home walls: eggshell (low sheen, durable, washable). For trim and doors: semi-gloss. For ceilings: flat white. High-gloss is used rarely — it shows every surface imperfection. We'll help you choose based on the rooms.
Yes. Multiple colours, accent walls, colour blocking — all part of our scope. We'll review your colour plan before starting and tape all transitions cleanly.
No — painting is quoted separately from drywall and taping. When you request a quote, let us know if you'd like to include painting and we'll add it as a separate line item so you can see the cost breakdown clearly.
We come to your site, review the scope, and give you a detailed written quote.
